In the chaotic “Funniosities of Carrie and Company”, Carrie is joined by other popular characters active in this comic, among them Little Tich, Sheerluck Bones, and Touchwood and Whistle “The Tricky Twins”. By now, Merry and Bright is definitively a children’s comic; by 1922 all the music-hall characters will have been dropped. See also D16–D18, F10 and F11.
